The Net Price Kit
The fee on every sale to the cent, the price that nets what you need, what refunds, chargebacks, currency and payouts take, two quotes at your own sale size, and a subscription net of fees
EngPay's free calculators each answer one payments question. The Payment Fee Calculator gives the fee on a price you already chose, but cannot run backward to the price that nets what you need, and its net comes before refunds, chargebacks, currency conversion and payouts. The Processor Comparison Calculator compares two quotes at one average sale, and the Subscription Revenue Calculator reports MRR before a cent of fees. The Net Price Kit puts them in order. It works each fee in whole cents, the way it is charged, and grosses a price up by dividing, never multiplying: to keep $40.00 at an illustrative 2.9% + $0.30 you charge $41.51, where adding the rate on top charges $41.46 and keeps $39.96, 4 cents short on every sale. It adds the fee a refund leaves behind, the true cost of a chargeback, the border and the payout into one monthly waterfall and one all-in rate (4.08% against a 2.9% headline in the worked example), finds the sale size at which two quotes cross ($47.50 in the example), and works a subscription net of fees with churn compounded and no growth promised. Every rate in it is an illustrative assumption with its source and date: fee schedules change and differ by plan, country and card type, so the kit sends you to your own contract for every line. It recommends no processor and is not tax or legal advice. Included: a 24-page PDF with seven steps, four printable working pages, a gross-up table and a quickstart, plus a personalised sheet worked from the numbers you entered in the calculator you came from.

The kit picks up where the free Payment Fee Calculator leaves off. The calculator gives the fee on a price you already chose; the kit runs it backward to the price that nets what you need (divide by one minus the rate, never multiply), adds what refunds, chargebacks, currency conversion and payouts take, and totals the month into one all-in rate. It compares two quotes at your own average sale with the Processor Comparison Calculator, finds the sale size where they cross, and works a subscription net of fees with churn compounded using the Subscription Revenue Calculator. Every rate in it is an illustrative assumption: fee schedules change and differ by plan, country and card type, so use your own contract. It recommends no processor and is not tax or legal advice. The worked figures are examples.
